I got some LED bulbs for my clear corners, but when I use my blinkers, they blink really fast, and not very noticable, they are bright, but not when they blink. And why do they blink so fast? It blinks so fast it clicks like it does when one of your blinker bulbs has burned out. It blinks fine when I use the hazards though, and it also blinks fine if I replace the bulb with a normal incandescent.

I assume that it just doesn't blink that bright because the bulbs were ebay cheapos? I paid quite a bit for them though, like $20....I would hate to spend another $30 to get better ones, $50 on bulbs? What a waste..

Can anyone offer any input?

I think it has to do because leds use less wattage than bulbs... and maybe the system mistakes that with a burned bulb?

Yup. It's been covered a bunch of times.

You can also try to install a "LED" flasher unit, they sell them at most auto stores.

Yep, when you just plug them in theyll blink fast and yes, they are not really that bright. Thats why I have the super white bulbs that look blue instead of LED ones. Those are nice

This is what you need:

Grote Part # 44892 about $12 from any parts store. Just replace the OEM one from under your dash with this one and the blinking goes back to normal. The OEM flasher blinks fast due to the LED bulbs using less current to operate "tricking" the flasher to think the bulb is burnt out.

^^^ Yup!

The LED bulbs I bought from them sucked though. 15 (i think) in the bulb, and half of them were dead LEDs. >_
