Default Just got gen2 clear tail light, and i have a Q?

ok, i just recieve the euro clear tail light and it looks pretty good. I heard many people said that moisture seep into it, I live in the northeast area which recent recieve 2 feet of snow. I was wondering could u guys give me some advices how to stop the moisture.

apply a small bead of clear silicon around them it took me about 3 times to get them the way I liked, but they don't leak anymore.

any hardware store will have it or auto parts etc etc and yes I am a member of team sr best 25.00 I ever spent.

Yeah I used Liquid nails and it holds good, they even have black silicone so it matches my have to do the new ones in black

same thing happened to my lights... i made a small bead around most of the light with a plain glue gun... seems to work but i still get some moisture from time to time... gotta try again. this time im just gona go all the way around tongue.gif tongue.gif

just washed my tib today... after i was done i checked the tail for any water. no surprize i got some water drops in the right tail lens. drops=moisture ... but anyway i took them off so they could dry in the house. after all the moisture is dry im gona reseal em, but this time im gona go all the way around.

hey ozwald,
when you let yours dry up... did you have any left over water spots inside the lens? and if you did... did you try to get em out? and if so HOW? hehe

mine aint dry yet... gona take a few days.
