Just A Couple Of Pics From Today.
I knew you had bags, but I assumed you didn't ride with it at full extension. I have 17x7.5 Racing Harts and my 215/45 tires rubbed for the first few weeks until the rubber wore down. It would only rub if I hit a dip/bump when turning, or going up a steep incline or ramp.
18x7 aren't very easy to find, but I know they're out there. I would think 235/35 would rub on 18x7.5

yeah i dont. i ride pretty low and i dont rub. i had 17x7.5 racing harts before with a 40 series and it rub. i had to roll the fenders but it still rubbed.
the 18"s dont rub at all. i can be driving with NO air and i still dont rub with them, turning and all. lemme double check the width when i get home but maybe its because of that.

awesome dude. I really appreciate it.
And I want to let you know, that because of your car, I now wish I had an RD1 hail.gif
I've always loved your car... even when you had the big bug eyes in the front bumper lmao.gif

thanks man. yeah the bug eyes...lol memories. okay im at home and it says
18x7.5 E45. 215/35
so i guess its not the width. and now that i think about it. when i rubbed with the 17x7.5 i had spacers on.
the spacers must of added the extra width to make it rub. maybe the rolling of the fenders i did is keeping it from rubbing now.
but i dont understand because the wheels dont stick out at all. they tuck nicely inside the fender and i didnt even roll the fenders a lot.
i dont know the offset and i dont konw if E45 has anything to do with it. when i ordered the wheels they asked the car and sent the right ones.

^ If you don't know the offest of your rims, take one off then measure the distance from the inside edge of it (on the strut side) to the where the hub bolts onto & also measure the rim from edge to edge. Take the first measurement (to hub) then deduct half of the edge to edge measurement... That's the offset.
So, say your rim width is 7.5" = 190mm
Let's say that hypothetically the first measurement (to hub) you get is 133mm.
133mm - 95mm (median measurement of rim = 1/2 of edge to edge measurement) = 38mm
The offset here is + 38mm fing02.gif
I don't know if there is an easier way to find out.
Edit*: I just re-read your post... If that E45 marking is on the rim then maybe that means you've got a + 45 offset. I would've thought you'd be rubbing with that sort of setup.
