well, some may know i got rd1 blanks HIDs and a small RR emblem coming in.... well i have also wanted to kit my car for some time, and with SOCK's ideas i just might HAVE to.

well here is goes. i plan i toking this well.... not so nice lip kit

those sides are nice and bulky and with the lip molded to bumper AND HD lip add-on itll look nice and bulky also..

i would definately mold in those vents also, and that would make for a really badass lookin rd1. specially when you have the NEX coilovers and your rear wheel spacers.. can't wait to see the finished product.

it also wont cost much to get that whole kit bought, molded AND painted. i like the look of no rear, kinda like most of the kdm spec race tibs. if you need help getting that lip material let me know, ill find a place who carries it in the size you need.

i really would paint your bezels and stuff though.. would look so much cleaner and more aggresive.

 

id only do it if your going to mold it.... it looks way better that way... not super about the skirts.....im not really a fan of the huge bulky ones but its your car..but deff. yes on the bumper

 

tinted headlights will eventualy come around. i just have to decide if i want clear corners or not. and I'v told you im molding the vents if i get them

k, then its set. i talked to Majik about his painter friend and everything. i cant order it this week b/c my brother has to pay off some debt. but deffinetly some time soon. the scoops will probably come after other mods but i reeeealy want them.

Nate, could you do a chop with a picture of my car right at that angle? or would it be crap? ad finally, should i mold the fog blanks into position?

I like the lip a lot, but IT HAS TO BE molded. The only thin I dislike about th RD1 is the way the front bumper "smiles" in the center; and in the rear the sides.

I do not like the skirts, none of them, none of what I've seen... The only thing I'd make to the Tibs side is to mold the OEM skirt to the body, that line there messes up the overall design... think about it...

With the fog blanks it would also look very racey (not to confuse with ricey); you can simulate, or actually make them real, air ducts to cool off the brakes... Or to take air for the intake...
