I want some ideas and opinions on some things I would like to do to the tib. I will add more as I get to the specific project.

Keep in mind my car will not be yellow it will be a kind of black cherry color.

First is tail lights.

I have the OEM ones, gunmetal altezzas
,
and the kspec tinted covers
.

These are the options I was thinking:

1. leave OEM alone and on the car.
2. Change out for the gunmetal.
3. replace clear lense on OEM set with the kspec covers.
4. replace clear lens on Altezza set with kspec covers.

I was leaning toward replacing the OEM covers but then there wouldn't be any red on the light and I'm pretty sure there has to be red reflecting on the tail light somewhere according to the law.

Next I was thinking about repainting the insides of the headlights and clear corners with a dark grey or charcoal color instead of the chrome. That doesn't include the reflectors in the headlights just the surrounding chrome.

If I were to paint them I was thinking about painting the Altezzas the same if I can get the lens off cleanly. (Has anyone done this without breaking them?)

Would the brightness suffer from this? I have the stock light bulbs presently but may upgrade to HIDs.

I wanted to do this while I was installing my angel eyes and doing some other headlight mods.

More to come later.

i say put the kspec covers OVER the OEM tails.. they look really good and keep the red. they actually look like dark cherry with the covers..

and for the headlights/corners.. if you paint the bezels of the headlights, it won't affect brightness at all, since tibs have projectors, BUT if you paint/tint the lens, it will affect brightness. i painted my bezels and high beam reflectors (cuz i had no need for high beams) and i also painted the bezels on my corner lens.

Did you use high temp paint for the headlights or could you use regular?

I have to say the tinted covers on the stock tails look good.

OK so another idea I would like some opinions on.

I want to make a few changes to the oem bumper.

Before:

After:

I want to remove the vertical bars in the lower opening and remove the oval where the badge is and smooth the upper opening.

I've heard a few opinions but I think I need more to make up my mind, or maybe some other ideas.

I like having the H removed from the front of mine.

I want to remove the parking lights too (little rectangular ones)

That looks even better now that I see it on an actual car and not just photoshop.

I just wanted to be sure before I go cutting up my bumper lol.

Filling the marker lights is a good idea but I am leaving mine alone.

Thanks, I realized while looking for those pictures tho that I didnt. So I went outside and took a few real quick, so don't mind if the car is a little dirty.

The marker lights will be a bit of a project, but I want em gone. I feel like they take away from the overall smooth lines of the car. I wanna loose the fog lights too, so if anybody wants to trade for a set of silver fog light filler panels they're up for grabs!
