Hallo,
I have a new sets of emblems, and before sticking them on, I wanna paint them black...


How would you reccomand to do it, so it won't peal or anything like that..

i wrapped mine in carbon fiber and its holding up and looking good

primer, flat black paint... like 3 or 4 layers. mine have been on for like 5 months or so now without a problem. even using a pressure washer. i used the paint that people use to paint their black plastic trim.

sand em down first though. The chrome likes to flake off. Maybe use wheel paint or something stronger.

Don't primer, it's plastic. Primer is for metal. Use rubbing alcohol to clean it very well. Then use Adheasion Promoter to form a bond with the paint, then paint and clear coat. You can use spray cans and it will turn out nicly.

run the paint cans under hot water for a bit. it will make the paint spray thinner so you might have to use more coats but the results are great
