i saw this a while back and im really looking to do something as close to it as possible. something like this in cf would be amazing but even plastic would be great. if anyone has any ideas i would love to hear them. im sure a lot of people would like this part. the pic is garys old rd2

Isn't that just the stock piece covered in spray truck bedliner? At least I thought I read that's what he did to his engine bay.

Edit: I checked and yes he did say that and it was in a thread that I started a long time ago so I was able to find it/knew where it was. I agree with you though that it looks very clean and very nice. I don't think it would look that good in CF though.

yep!...entire engine bay sprayed with truck liner..tuff!!!

 

How much does liner cost anyway? Probaby easy to clean, or at least make look clean...but yeah, I would buy the single piece closest to the headlights if it was a decent price.

The liner stuff comes in spray cans that you can spray on. Maybe like $5/can. I think Gary said he sprayed it and then did some sanding. Lol, someone needs to just point him into this thread already.

 

I had thought about makign a c/f or FG piece for that but I dont have the drive to do it lol I hate making molds and masking off this side of the united states.
