Went to a car meet last night that had all kinds of different cars and I counted 16 cars that all had those stupid LED strips either above or below their headlights. Not just imports, but a bunch of domestics had them too. It is definitely one of the biggest ricer fads out right now.

i don't even like when the oem's do it. it was kinda cool at first on the r8 but now everything has them. i'd rather leds as opposed to the amber running lights but why do they have to imitate audi by integrating them into the headlamps? halos are the same story.



i did like the set on the carrera elegant, effective, yet different from all!

 

I completely agree dude. I like the idea of them, and they can look great, but everybody has completely abused them and they just make me cringe these days.

 

I was crusing next to an Audi today, must say the OEM light strips on the headlights were tastefully eye catching!
