First, let me apologize for the crappy pictures, but they are all that I have right now.

I purchased a HID conversion set and the instructions might as well be in Korean like my Bros gauges were (but those were easy).

I am pretty sure I know how to do this, but at $150 a bulb, I don't want to screw up!

Ok here is what I got in the package: This is only 1/2 of everything, for one side. This is the bulb, ignitor, Ballast, and another harness.

Everything seems to fit together in the harness creating a closed circuit:

There are 2 prongs coming off of the bulb. Here is a close up:

I am assuming you just connect everything together and stick the prongs into the stock wiring harness and secure them somehow. But, how do I know what is positive and what is negative, or does it matter because this is DC?! I am so confused and this should be simple!!! I am just too scared of messing these things up.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I can't see shizzle man! I can help if you get better pictures.

Usually conversion kits will come with the harness to connect to your stock harness, but I guess you have a different/cheap kit. Yes, it does make a difference which one to connect to. Get big T-taps and tap into your stock wires and see which one will work or if the colors are black and red on your kit's harness you can just match the colors with T-taps to your stock harness.

They are blue and black, so would blue go to + and black go to -?

I think it should be like that. But get T-taps so in case they are not the right wires you can just switch them.

I dont think mine had prongs...

Basically how mine works is you take out stock bulb, connect that harness to harness on HID kit, then mount new bulb, and connect everything to the ballast. Im pretty sure thats all the wiring that needed to be done. It was very very simple.
