Default HID headlights

As we all know, our headlights suck. Im looking into buying a HID kit but I need to know what kind everyone else has, how much it cost, and what do we need specifically. I know our headlights are H7 but Ive seen 5000K, 6000K, etc. What do are cars need? Thanks

Its not necessarily what the car "needs", its based on what you want. I foget the scale but I *think* the higher the number, the brigter and more purple the lights will be. Pretty sure thats how it goes. Ive got 6000k and they are just bright enough and they are blue tinted. If you want more of a purpleish go with 8000k. I might switch over to 8000k eventually.

if you want blue headlights i can get you some REAL blue headlights.
they are a true blue, ALWAYS. when you are driving in the dark and you see a white road sign, it isn't white. it's blue. trust me. if you're interested pm me.

Alright I was under the impression that each make/model of car had something different as far as that goes.

And im not looking for blue lights, im jsut looking for something that doesnt burn out every two months.

You just gotta buy the right set for your headlight size. So like you said it would be H7. And these will last you prbably the life of the car, if not longer.

TC is right, I've had mine now for almost 2 years and had no problems with them no bulbs burnt out or anything, I also have the 6000K kit and they are super bright, I get flashed by other drivers at night cause they think I have my highbeams on.

I'm pretty sure the brightest HID is 5000K.

The temperature of the bulb does not relate to the brightness of it, it relates to the color.
