put em in de oven and watch em closely.
300-350degrees for 3 minutes or so(maybe more for taillamps).

Pry off lenses when the glue doesn't hold anymore. If it feels like it's moving but doesn't want to come apart easily, then put it back in the oven for another minute. UIt will make it much easier and reduce chances of cracking anything.

Try not get get the gray gooey/stringy glue all over the lenses or insides of taillights. fing02.gif

if i throw my tailights into the oven for that long, they will melt.

the plastic on the tailights is much thinner. put it in on 300 for a minute and a half, and see if you can pry them apart.

Well I tried the oven idea and since altezzas have much thiner lenses they started to melt at 300C and they were in there for 30 seconds.

I managed to pull the lenses with heat gun bit by bit...45 minutes later and 20 cuts later I got them off.

WOW.

I got owned.gif.

Everyone keeps talking about putting headlamps in oven and tailmaps in oven like in my other thread. Blacktibs said to put them in at "350 for 3 mintues'.

Since I am Canadian I thought he meant 350C. No one has ever said 350F. Damn someone should of said 350F.

Oh well, I still got them off.
