ok, so ive got 4 nuts off my stock spoiler, and it wont come off... Then i looked at my new one and it looks like i have to drill holes... Help?

I can't remember how many bolts there are but once those are off it's just a matter of pulling the spoiler off. It's got some double-sided tape holding it in place.

Also, make sure the 3rd brakelight is disconnected before you go tugging on the spoiler.

yeah. once the bolts are out, it's just a matter of breaking the seal. congrats on that spoiler mang!

yep, you have tpo drill holes. go to the dealership and order the cardboard cutouts of where you're supposed to drill. i bought my spoiler kit factory from a member here associated with hyundai canada. the kit comes with a cardboard cutout of the hyundai emblem and you place it on top of the emblem and shows you exactly where to put the holes. there are four bolts on the spoiler.

moved to exterior, just because your doing it yourself doesnt mean it goes in the DIY section.

Yea, i got the old one off, cleaned all the tape shit off and all the glue. its ready for the new one. thanks for the congrats guys! Hopefully my hyundai dealer will have the cardboard dealy. That'll make things easier since I'm not exactly an expert with body work........

np, they might think you're a little crazy about thart cardboard ordeal. don't forget we're talking 1999 here lol. hyundai dealers absolutely hate when you don't sweat their latest merch.

but try asking. it is there and does exist. it should show up on their computer.
