help! angel eyez installation..
i have an RD1, i already have the headlights broken apart and separated..
does the angel eye go in front of the bezel, or behind it around the bulb?
which side points forward on the angel eye, the smooth side or the notched side?
how do you attach the angel eye?
the diy i read was for rd2's, the headlights are different and so are the angel eyes, but he put his angel eye in the back of the bezel and drilled a hole through it and zip tied it. that just seems wrong to me..(for rd1s anyways, because) it looks like if you put the angel eye behind the bezel (by the bulb) you won't even be able to see it..but yet if you don't put it behind the bezel you won't be able to drill...so i am stuck.
thanks..!

1.) In front of the bezel.
2.) Smooth side out.
3.) There should have been something included, But I know that my haloz didn't come with any. some clear shrink wrap, i thinkis what should have been included. You could probably also use fishing line, but then you have to figure out how to keep it from slipping back thru the hole.
PM blacktibs about the drilling.

well i decided that it wouldn't be very noticable anyway..so i went ahead and used the diy's idea, and drilled 2 holes and zip tied around the angel eye. you can't tell unless you know it's there/are looking for it, so it's all good.
i was thinking shrink wrap, but all i have is blue stuff--none clear.
i finished the installation, lock it.
thx tibbywrc

yeah we'll keep it open. The kits all come with mini clear zip ties now. Glad you guys could help him out, much thanks. I'll have all the installs posted in my forums soon.
