I don't know about anyone else here, but I love having 4 headlights, but hate only using 2 at a time. Does anyone know if it would be possible to perhaps change bulbs or wiring to make the 4 lights all regular lights, and have them all come on at the same time, and put the brights so that they come on when I turn on the foglights? I've been wondering this for a while, and love the idea, but I'm not sure how to go about it. I know they make kits for trucks to have brights and heads on at the same time, but what about 4 heads?

I'm sure it would be possible because Hyundai Canada had a recall on the early 2000 models for that exact problem. Here in Canada we have mandatory daytime running lights but when you turn on the headlights the DRL's must go off and they weren't on some of the early production 2000 models. They were recalled to correct this.

All you need to do is get yourself the components for the DRL system and find out what was wrong that the headlights and DRL's would be on at the same time.

i was thinking something along that line. i think you can do it by taking your foglight wires and connecting them into your headlight wires. that's not proven though.

what i'm going to do is get some stock rd1 projector lights and stock foglights and frankenstien them together then slap an h.i.d. kit. result? super bright fog projector lights.

I know in most states your fog lights cannot be on while you high beams are on. In Philly you would fail inspection for that.

run a sepearte, fused power wire to the low beams, with a relay in between it and the battery. have the relay switch power on using the high beams.

I meant brights as fog lights. I know if the brights are on, the foglights won't come on. I mean, the 4 as regular headlights, and the fogs as brights. Whether or not the others would go off I'm not concerned about, because I could turn them off myself.

Thats funny, cause when i turn my brights on...my headlights stay on as well, so i run with 4 lights all the time (when i use my brights) and my foglights (when i had them) used to stay on when i turned on my brights lol.gif so if i turned on my fog lights and brights, i'd be driving with 6 lights on! i never really thought about it till now.... wink1.gif ......DAMN i love my car laugh.gif

Was reading and i thougt.. hmmm...

With low beam you guys mean the first position when you turn on the headlight?
With High beam you mean the second position, all the way turned?
Then you've got the big light, to signal, but that's when you pull the lever towards you.
I get the fog's part. (don't have them)

So, i guess i'm driving with 4 lights then.

Ok, well, I got the 4 lights to work at the same time... would a simple bulb switch work? Maybe putting regular bulbs in where the brights are... I don't really ever use my brights... The only downside would be that my brights would always be on in order to have the 4 lights on, unless anyone has an idea as to how to make the brights come on in the regular position.
