Recently I purchased some headlight gaskets from tib 500, which arrived today, and I must ask. Does one have to pull off the bumper cover to put it on or can it be slipped on while the front cover is attached?

I don't know what the headlight gaskets are, but I do know that if you want to work with the headlight housings you have to take off the front bumper.

 

Best bet take your bumper off, its only like 10 screws.

Ya i don't see how you could change them without taking the bumper off

 

been there, done that.

you can take the 13 plastic push pins that secure the hood seal and the top of the front bumper out. this will give you enough room to wriggle them out.

oh, and take your marker lights out as well.

 

i used to do this on my sister's rd2 and that's when i just confirmed how annoying it was. someone still has to give me 1 good reason why they did that as well as a few useless things. you don't have to do squat in rd1.
