They get hot as, though!!
Is there any risk of the heat damaging parts around the exhaust manifold (radiator hose, alternator, etc...)??
Was looking at getting a ceramic-coated 4-1 tuned length header down the track... They reckon it makes a big difference to the temp in the engine bay. Or is it just a waste of time getting ceramic-coated?
Pyro, sorry for hijacking man! wink.gif I reckon painting your header cover to tie-in with your chosen colour-theme, like Spiceflow did, will look the duck's nuts!! 8)

Do you think a company calls it a header cover?
It's a Heat Shield.
Try that.
Ceramic coating is nice but doesn't last forever and it is relatively expensive. Use exaust wrap instead. Much more effective and around 70-100 for a header. It's basically a tape made out of fiber glass or asbestos that you wrap around your header. For example, you can drive your car around for about an hour, park and freely touch your header with your bare hand.
