hi guys,
not sure if this is the right section but anyway

my hatchback gas struts on rd1 are not holding anymore,
i found these on ebay:

will the rd2 ones work on the rd1?
are they easy to install?
or is there a better option? or perhaps the same ones are used on a tib for an elatra etc?
