Default Hand Polishing vs. Orbital thing

Frankly, I'm scared to use a Orbital Buffer. This stems from my complete and total lack of knowledge on how to use one and as a result I do my wax/polish applications by hand.

However, I think it is time to expand my knowledge a bit and learn a new skill. I've seen tutorial videos on YouTube for the general "how-to" but still have no clue what to purchase, over all start-to-finish to apply and remove, not burn paint, etc.

Anyone have some input here??

Don't worry about it. Rotary buffers are the ones which burn paint. Orbital are pretty gentle.
