Default Re: Turbo Exhaust Question

I got my angel eyes, vent haloz and some other lighting options and have read the DIY on them but im still not sure that i will be able to install them myself. so i have 2 options. 1. If someone lives close enough to me that has them already and knows how to do it i would be willing to take a drive if they could help. Or 2 i will just have a performance store near me and pay the install price. (not sure what thats going to run me)

Any help would be great, thanks

yeah same here lol. i don't know what the heck i'm doing. but this DIY should help.

it is nipply out. your hands aren't as functional... jeez...

i'd have to take off the entire bumper and take out the lights. i might crack something... the CAI was enough trouble for me! i spent days trying to fit it properly--good outcome though after a little customization.

haha, you guys are pussies! i take my car apart on weekly basis to try fittin new things and see how new parts will fit in the future.

you gotta take out your head light and do the rest at your house, then put the light back in, and wiring shouldn't take more than 15 minutes.

LOL... we are such wimps. oops.gif but i agree. you won't really find anything out until you get your hands on the lights. just be careful and take extra precautions. if you do things too soon you will trip over the wire...

I was going to say exactly what OP said. Half of the work you have to do indoors with an oven. The rest is just running wire. Shouldn't be too bad. I'll be doing mine soon too.

It takes a little nerves to put your headlights in the oven, but you'll be o.k

I only melted a little bit of the housing, but thats cause it touched the side of the pan I was using. laugh.gif Wiring is a breeze.

Most of you guys need to back off and see what the guy drives.

01 Tiburon.

That involes a BIT more than just taking the headlights out.

Front bumper.
