Default Halo tail lights

I know this is for a G coupe but I want to do this to my car. Would it basically be the same exact level of work as putting them in the headlights? How much more difficult is it to pry apart tails versus headlights?

I think Chris from Flyryde is trying to get something going with this, I PM'ed him a measurement for those Altezza tail lights for those LED rings(similar to what I have on my headlights). I haven't heard back from him yet, but it may be worth looking into.

Unfortunately I can't remember the sizes.
