If so, I have a couple of questions:

- How much has it affected the amount of light coming through?

- If you drive around with them on at night, have you had any problems with cops? Over here the cops love to give out fines & defect notices!

- Got any pics you can post? Day &/or night shots would be greatly appreciated... as I'd like to get an idea of how much the front & rear lights shine through at night.

Yeah, that's what I thought... But if it only reduces the light as much as tinting / spraying them, then I'd rather go for these as it's a much cleaner finish.

Alternatively, I'm also toying with the idea of getting the clear covers for the front, & spraying some "Eye-lids" on 'em... that could look cool too...

He is saying that the brand name is GTS not GTO.

But actually, you are correct. These are GTS headlight covers, the last letter just looks like an "o".

Anyway, I checked out the link you have above and they are selling these for the 97+ Tib. :roll: I would like to see some of these on an 01. :?: :?

 

Yeah i know there illigal here ... I had some on a cougar... I found the only problem with them though is the tabs break.. IE... If you shut your hood too hard .. they snap like nothing... I don't like the looks of them though... that's just my .02 c

 

i bought some for my moms 02 grand prix gt.... i love em. really good look on the red cars especially i think. we havent had a problem with the tabs on the covers breaking or anything like was said before, but they get pretty nasty after a few weeks of rain so ya gotta get some plastic cleaner or wax and take care of em.

 

i think ksepc has a clear version of the tails for rd1s. ask david.
