i found a buyer for the blue tib but when they heard that i was taking the spoiler off of it they didn't like the idea, so i told them i would get another to put on and paint before the sale .. they want something that looks just like the shark spoiler basically, or i guess anything that would just look GOOD. i'm not spending more than $175 (shipped) so if anyone has any opinions on what might look okay ...
so far i've been looking at a few .. keep in mind these will all be painted to match also
if anyone has any input or could direct me to a better one that'd be great! thanks.

I think some of those may not look so ugly once painted..i dunno.

 

The first and the 4th I cannot see, the link is not responding, but the other two look trully UGLY in my opinion; I mean, if I would buy your car and one of those is installed, I would demand any of them to be removed and the trunk fixed with no spoiler at all.

Why not go the OEM route and buy something OEM? The canadians shark came with a nice OEM optios, similar to the spoiler on the european F2Evo. The OEM with brake light would be also much nicer than those two I could see.

I think the "type B" wouldn't look too bad..maybe even the katana one (isn't that the same as the veilside one for tibs?)

 

there is someone on cardomain with that first wing...shes got a yellow tib. search for 96-01 tibs, updated, and shes on the first or second page

why did you advertise it with the shark spoiler? you should have taken it off first so they wouldn't even have said anything.

Well we don't exactly have much choice for spoilers .. you should see the other ones listed on ebay.
I didn't advertise it, it is someone i know who was at my house and i mentioned i'm trying to sell it and they actually said they had the money and were serious, so we went outside to look at it and that's when I said I'm taking the spoiler..

that blows man... it really does. you can get the GTR wing i think from ebay too but it doesn't have the spoke and it's not painted.

anykind of spoiler work you're looking at will cost you $150 for the spoiler, and another $100 for painting it depending on the painter. so if you decide to pull it off you're going to end up paying at least $250.

i would go with the GTR wing (shark spoiler without center pillar) from ebay...and just add it onto the price of the car tongue.gif

We already agreed on a price, and I already have the painting taken care of, I have the paint and someone who will shoot it for cheap, so I just need a spoiler for under $175.

I really don't like any of the wings. I would go with HyundaiKit's idea and get teh GTR wing though.
