I got the bottom grill off with no problem but I can't seem to get the top one off. I removed all of the clips but I can seem to only get the top loose. Am I missing something?

 

There is two bolts connectd to two brackets. If you dont take these off...the upper grill WILL NOT come off. I guessing thats your problem. What are you putting in there place?

 

I'm taking the old ones off to paint them in the interim and to make templates so that when I find the material I can make some custom grills...it's slow goin' right now because I can't find any material to use to make the grills. Any suggestions as to where I can go or what I can do?

 

try ebay, i've sen some grill sets auctioned there. and those bolts ya have to remove are 8mm i think smile.gif

This is good info. I ordered red license plate holders and plan on painting my grills red to match them. I'll post a pic when that's done.
