I want to round out the carbon fiber theme that began with my hood and is migrating back to my sunroof, *(still in the mail I might ad) with doing a carbon fiber overlay on just the deck of the shark spoiler. Does anyone know if the deck can be removed without uninstalling the entire spoiler. I would like to just remove the deck and only send the deck off for overlaying. I want to get the deck overlayed and possibly the side cut outs in carbon fiber as well.
Thanks in advance for any help! fing02.gif

No, it all comes apart. I posted a pic before of a breakdown of the entire wing. I think what you have to do is pop off the side plate covers, then undo the bolts there, and if you have a center post, then undo those bolts, and the center should be loose. Now, with the way it is constructed, I think you'll need to at least loosen the side pieces a bit.
Now, for getting those covers off, I'm not sure. Try to pop them out with a piece of plastic or something.
In fact, the picture is here.

I had to pull mine apart to run new wires for the brake light before putting it on. Just put some tape on a flathead screw driver and gently pry them off. Its only double-sided tape holding them on. Then there should be 3 screws. It may take some wiggling to get them off, but they DO come apart.

Right on guys!!! Thanks for the help!
Ericy - yep, sending it out to get covered. Hmmm..., I think compact divisions. Does anyone have good or bad experiences with them?
