So its finally got its final primer coat that needs to be sanded before actual paint.
I decided not to mess with the key hole right now as i want to move on to the front bumper.

okay visionz go ahead i know its prolly not near how good a job you can do, but give me props this is my first time working with fiberglass!
so for anyone inspired by this or curious to the order of this maddness here it its.
step -2: before beginning tape off 4-6 inches on all adjacent areas of the bumper you wish to improve.
step -1: Take a candle or other wax of your choice and generously rub on all of the masking tape you have applied
(this makes it so the fiberglass with not stick to these areas.)
step 0: sand with 80 grit sand paper 4-6 inches around all areas that need repaired
step 1: coarse fiber(bondo fiber mat) with bondo resin jelly *for gaps larger than 1/8 inch*
step 2: 80 grit sanding
step 3: short strand fiber(like bondo but it has strands of fiberglass in it)
step 4: 80 grit sanding
step 5: short strand fiber
step 6: 80 grit sanding(alot to smooth it out)
step 7: Body filler primer
step 8: 80 grit sanding(still a lot more sanding rough spots)
*Note: Steps 9 - 13 (if you start seeing more rough spots return to step 8)*
step 9: 120 grit sanding
step 10: 220 grit
step 11: 330 grit
step 12: 600 grit
step 13: 1000 grit
step 14: Primer
more to come.
