Hey Yam, I'm not saying that we don't want them or that Its easy to get them anywhere! I just mean your going to have some trouble getting everyone to invest that kind of money for a mod that their not going to get till Feb. even more to the point right during christmas shopping time. I know if this is the case then I'll be buying them if Feb. for the extra $40. I know it cost a lot of money and some people are going to put up the money, just not as many. I bet you get less then half of the people that wants them to pay now. And I'm not trying to discourage anyone from ordering them now, if you want them and you have the means then go for it!
I'm sure Sam has worked very hard to get these made, I just can't see myself putting out $200 for something that I won't even see till well into next year. sad.gif

As far as the downpayment goes, i have no doubt that people will come through because if they dont, there will be no lights. I wish we had 20-30K to throw down on them, but we dont, thus the preorder thing. We will probably only need about 100 pre-orders which shouldnt be a problem. If 400 Toyota Corolla owners are willing to put down 200 on their lights, im sure we can find 100 tiburon owners who will too.... smile.gif

 

Quicktib, I know the preorder thing is not going to be for everyone... That's why I intend to have the cheapest price for people who pay the entire amount upfront, and a slightly higher price for those who pay a deposit of 30~50. You have to understand that without any preorders, I would have to delay the tail lights... Don't worry though, some people will be like you and only pay the deposit, and some people will end up pre-ordering... Think of it as ordering from HDK, in that it will take three months to get something when you place an order. Only this time, you know in advance that it will take three months. smile.gif

Oh, by the way, I'm not going to ask anyone to pay any money upfront without showing them the pictures of what the endproduct will look like. I will unveil the design in a few days...

 

I got no problems with that! I will, however, be glad to put down $50-$75 as a down payment. I would do this even without seeing the lights, cause I know the looks of the 2nd Gen. tails where awesome and I'm positive these will be also. No bad feelings Sam?
