Finally after 6 months of grinding and sanding, my bodykit is going to the paint shop. It's been a long and grueling ordeal, and it's something I don't suggest doing yourself unless you have alot of spare time on your hands.
I'll post pics as soon as I get it installed!

Yup the Cuda kit. Can't wait till it's back. It's been way too long.

I prepped a whole kit for 3-4 days (2 bumpers, sides, and spoiler) and came back for another day to double check it all smile.gif

I only wish. Maybe some of you with the Cuda kit can back me up a little? O.k where to start, fitment was horrible. I had to grind the hell out of the rightside of the rear for the tailight because it was no where near close to fitting. Had to grind the proper angle for the rear to meet the body at the proper angle, make a few brackets blah, blah, blah. Now the front, grind down the lip that attaches under the hood so front would fit properly over the head lights and not look all lopsided. Again grind proper angle to meet sides of body. Countless hours of sanding and filling in holes that were made from poor kit mold. Sides weren't too bad had those done in a couple of hours. I just got soooo fed up a few times that I basically quite, till I realised how much it would actualy cost me if I took it to a bodyshop to fit it.

It's funny because it took so long for me to get the kit from Shark racing, and they kept saying they were trying to perfect the mold ( MY AZZ ). Good part is it's costing me $350cdn to get it prepped and painted. I don't think that is too bad of a price. And the guy is reputable! So there you have it in a nut shell oops.gif
