Default Fender Wells...

ABout a couple months ago the fender well(the black plastic thing going around the tire)of my car got cracked when I kinda hit a dog in the middle of the road.

I have been holding on getting it fixed. No reason. I was wondering if there was any ways to fix this instead of me paying out some money to the crappy dealership to fix it???

My concern is how you "kinda" hit a dog. How'd you pull that off?

He "kinda" hit the dog right after his GF got "kinda" pregnant, and then he "kinda" won the lottery, but then "kinda" lost the ticket. *lol* (just kidding ya man)

You can try to fix the fenderwell liner with some form of plastic epoxy. Or your best bet is to remove the fenderwell, and then put fiberglass and resin on the BACKSIDE of the liner. You can get kits at your local auto parts store for about $25 bucks, and by doing it on the back side, it will not be visable.

If I'm not mistaken, new fenderwell liners are about $45 bucks from www.stcharlesauto.com

Thanks Random!!! I will check out the StCharles site out. The dealership told me around $125 for a new one!!!

I hit the dog on the left edge of my car and he went underneath the tire and cracked the fender well...sadly he did die but fortunately I did not have any other damage besides the cracked fender well to my Tib. The dog was at least 80 or 90 lbs!!!

Guess thats what you'd expect on an auto forum:

"F*** the dog, hows the car?"
