Fading paint
Will waxing a car on a regular basis prevent the paint from fading in the hot sun? If not wax, then what can you use? You see a lot of cars in California with faded spots because of how hot it gets in the summer.

Late '90s and early '00s models have crappy paint on top because that's when they were switching to water based paints and the formulas still needed chemistry work.
