Factory Sunroof

Re: Body Kit = Worth it?
Is it possible that I can buy the parts from my dealer, and have their body shop install it? I know that usually an aftermarket sunroof is not a good idea due to leaks. But can I expect the same if I use all factory parts?

Re: confused limey!
The good thing about taking your car to the dealer and using factory parts is that they should have a warranty on their work and the parts they install. If it start to leak within the warranty period, the dealer should fix it for free. You should ask your dealer if they warranty the work or not and if they do, how long the warranty would last before you go though. I'm willing to bet they're gonna charge you an arm and a leg.

Re: Body Kit
You dont have to go to the dealer. Just find yourself a good, reputable bodyshop. One that specializes in sunroofs, not one that just does them if they need to. I've heard anywhere from $600-$1000 to have one installed. I actually have a factory sunroof sitting in my garage that Ive been putting off having installed. If you wanna buy it I'll sell it to you. wink.gif

Re: Mods that you can feel the difference..
$600 to $1000 sounds like I'd be most of the way to having a boosted tib. Maybe I can put off having a hole cut in my roof for a bit.

Re: A/C BS?
Aftermarket sunroofs are a bad idea.
