Eyelines
Anyone know where I can find a nice set of eyelines from? SFR sells them but I don't like how they dip down. I like the ones nightshark has, I could've swore flyryde sold something like nightsharks... I've checked flyryde, SFR, Kspec, import shark, evofusion, sharkracing.com, and I'm coming up with nothing...
Any help?

nightshark's eyelines were vinyl.. they were fiberglass add-ons or actual covers. just a piece of vinyl that went over the top of the light.
you know what i would say about your risk of buying flyryde.. doesn't matter what chris SAYS, its what he does.. he always SAYS he will get people their products or refunds, but the point is he never DOES.
i would either a) spend about 30 min making your own or b) buy the SFR ones and mod them to look how you want them to.
making your own would be a cool idea because you could make them look EXACTLY how you want them to. you can make them as thick or thin as you want, and mount them any way you want.

well here's a tip. if you like them and that's your thing, then it's a piece of cake to make them yourself! just buy some fiberglass resin for $5, lay and fold some gutter tin in the shape of your headlight. when dries, sculpt and sand away. it's a piece of cake and shouldn't take more than 1 day. then match the paint.
easy. although i have always thought eye lines make our cars look like hookers. laugh.gif

My first ones were black vinyl... but I ended up having to remove them to please a particularly fussy cop 02.gif
After that, I used some 2" wide black electrical tape. No joke. I swear there was no way to tell them apart from the "proper" vinyl ones. Plus the tape is super cheap so you can play around with them until you are happy with the final result. A pin is handy for getting the last few stubborn air bubbles out too.
Eventually, I reckon it'd be worth fabbing up some FG ones, like HKC suggested. It wouldn't be too hard.
Good luck mate fing02.gif

Well, I've never glassed anything before and I'm kind of scared to, lol. FR has some sets of CF on eBay, but I HATE Carbon Fiber. I might try goofing around with some Fiberglass. My friend is excellent with it so I'll have him teach me.
even if they have CF ones listed, i bet you 50$ they aren't made. lol
and its really easy to FG stuff, just try it, even if you can't do it, at least you can say you tried.
i just wouldn't bother buying something like that, when they can be made easier.
also, you could paint CF. you would be painting the FG anyway, so being CF it wouldn't matter.
