I checked this out on the internet and apparently it does work. Just wanted to get some others opinions. Anybody try this? Any cracking of the paint?

 

How does it work? I must admit that I never heard of this method.

I've never got it to work so i may just be feeding rumors. They say it dosn't work on aluminum, but supposedly you heat up the area with a heat gun slowly and then cool off the area with dry ice. It's supposed to cool one side and cause the dent to pull itself out.

will the heat gun damage the paint?

 

It will if you heat it up too much. We have aluminum vehicals and it dosn't work on our cars.

A popsident is the way to go though. It will pull out large dents better then small ones. If it goes up too far, there's a tool that you use in the kit that you can tap it back down. Seriously, it works.

 

we do not have aluminium vehicles.. just thin steel.

 

well ill try this popsident and see if that works first. One question though, does it tend to work on curves (i have dents on my passenger side door near the bottom, on the far right side of my hood just above the headlight, and my rear quarter panel just above the side skirt) also, where do you find popsident? i searched google, but barely any results showed up
