Are clear corners DOT legal? I live in PA, don't know if that makes a difference.

Default DOT: Corner Lights

when you get down to it, I believe they're illegal because they require a "reflector" lense. APC got sued because they sold clear corners/tails without the reflector piece... but I've never known of anybody to get pulled over. Just don't use blue or red bulbs. Blue bulbs are fine as long as they don't project a BLUE LIGHT.

Thanks. I read somewhere that they were illegal, and then read on Crutchfield that they were fine (though Crutchfield doesn't have them for Hyundais). And my dad won't buy them for me unless they are because he "doesn't want to see me get pulled over." haha, oh well.

I can't imagine you getting pulled over for them. Order them from www.speedstate.com, they're pretty reputable and have them for cheaper than other places.

In Washington State they are legal as long as the bulb used is amber. The turn signals here must produce an amber light so it's ok to use a bulb instead of the reflector

I run clear corners (bought on ebay, not SR) and my car is registered in Pa. Two years running the car has been inspected with them on.. no failures.

I'm thinking if you get pulled over by a cop for no reason but he thinks there should be a reason he could search everything on your car and tell you the lights are illegal. No cop would ever give you a ticket for them if they weren't looking for something to nail you with.
