If you were wipe down your car with windex, would it strip the wax off the paint?

if it's the stuff that has ammonia in it could do more than just strip the wax

wipe your car down with spray wax instead of windex, leaves a nice shine and kinda protects too

simple test, spray one side with and one without windex..watch for beading water..if it doesn't on the windexed side..theres your answer.

instead of doing that though..go out and buy a spray bottle of turtle wax.

Ammonia won't hurt the wax or the paint.
