Just about every car around here that has HIDs drive around during the day with them on. I see mostly civics and integras doing this. Maybe its a JDM wannabe thing or something but it made me wonder if alot of other people do it too, especially since most Hyundais dont have DRL's.

I did for the first week, because my Diode Dynamics HIDs and LED turn signals look so secksy. Then I didn't, because I didn't want to replace the bulbs very often.

i do it not because of any style, but because it makes people more aware of you on the road.
and in driving school they said so.

i personally feel that you are more likely to get noticed w/ drl-... i heard a study that that stated you are 11% less likely to be in an accident w/ drl-... my recent search said otherwise-... i'm still going to run the hid's when ever the car is moving

driving a bad ass looking car with a snow plow on the front of it and flashy mirror tint also makes your car safer, more easily noticed and 36.2% more likely to avoid accidents. happy.gif

I use the auto feature on my Murano, but for my HIDs I hate it when they flash on for a tunnel/parking garage and then turn off 10 seconds after.

I have just purchased an MY11 i30 CW station wagon/estate, and I want to run LED daytime running lights. They aren't law in Australia and aren't available as genuine locally.

Do other countries have genuine Hyundai DRL available? Are they LED? Any other suggestions?

Thanks
