do splitters really help with handling or are they mostly for show?

Default do splitters really help with handling or are they mostly for show?

ive been thinking about getting splitters for the front of my car. do they help with handling or do people usually just get them for show purposes?

I have canards on the front of my car, and a carbon fiber splitter waiting to go on too. I dont think they do too much. They're more designed for true track and race cars, to help stabalize the front end and apply more downforce on FWD vehicles.

They work, but you've got to be going very fast for them to have a noticeable effect.

At 70+mph, they do work. Under that, no. If you're not going to be taking corners at 70+, don't bother unless it's a showcar.
