DIY Body kit?
If your going to DIY, make sure you do it really good. My cousins friends sisters boyfriend (LMAO seriously) installed a body kit himself, went around a corner after droppin my cuz and his friend off at the movies and tore his entire front bumper off.
I will be installing mine within the next 2 months and this would be very usefull. If you don't have one by then, I will help you with it.
I think that doing something like this would require some previous autobody experience unless you want to go the PMR way and use double-sided tape! LMFAO!!

It depends on which bodykit you get. If you get for instance the fake veilside, I would leave it to a pro because you're gonna have a hell of a time trying to fit it. But with a kit like the Zefiro, its pretty easy to install cause the fitment it just about perfect. But I installed the Club GTR sideskirts and rear pods. We drilled holes in the ends of the skirts where the wrapped around the fender. Looked like ass because it still didnt fit right. But it did the job. I was gonna get them redone professionally installed though because it really looked like I did it myself. Same with the rear pods, they didnt fit at all.
so what is the main process steps to install a body kit? thinking about getting one from www.grounddynamics.com. maybe you could give me some input on a cheaper but nice body kit that will not be a PITA to install.

Well basically you take the stock bumpers and sideskirts off. A good bodykit should already have the holes drilled. Then you just screw on the new bumpers and fenders. But again, depending on the kit, it might not fit right, so you might have to finagle it a bit. Thats why its just best to have a bodyshop do it if you dont know what you're doing. Its relatively inexpensive and worth it in the long run.
well my uncle is a mechanic, if it does not fit properly what do you all have to do to get it to fit? just screw holes where the holes are already on the car? or what it sounds complicated in a way and in a way it doesnt.. sry im new to the whole maintance type of modifying my tib sry 02.gif

what type of mechanic? there's a difference between an auto-body technician and like a brake/front end technician...what kit do you want? like what brand? Zefiro, Veilside, Ixion are great fits. Get anything else, it will require modding.
