lol you think any of those ebay splitters have any R&D done to them? nope.. they make a splitter that looks all cool and will fit the most cars so they can make the most profit..

if you were to pretty much copy an "R&D" designed splitter, you will end up with the same result anyway...

although, to the OP, i don't know how you are going to do this for 30$. where do you plan on getting a piece of aluminum that size and think enough so it wont flap/bend at highway speeds for so cheap? haha. if you bottom out at all with CF vinyl its going to tear right through it.. better idea would be paint it a textured black or charcoal. that way, you can touch it up quickly.. you will need something rigid enough so it wont bend and want to tear off, but something thats not really heavy.

Are you wanting to add this splitter as an attempt to increase front down force or is it just for looks?

actually not a bad idea . . . and way easier to get right than trying to get vinyl to stay in place.

I know a guy with a DIY aluminum splitter on his Tib. It's painted black and it looks pretty good. Not as good as a CF one, but his effectively functions as a skid plate more than anything. Keeps his front bumper from scraping.

I never said anything about EBAY. You never want to buy aero parts from ebay unless it's just a rice-mod. Then it's whatever because it's just for looks anyway I guess.

Look guys I am not hating on anyone. Do whatever you want to your cars, you drive them not me, but don't get mad at me for giving my opinion when that is what was asked in the OP.

Now stop giving me bad rep for giving my opinion

haha
