Ok here's my little dilemma. My car is getting painted soon, and I'm more than likely gonna get an aftermarket spoiler eventually (i really like the GT wing, if it wasnt so expensive). I'm trying to decide if I need to go ahead and take off the stock spoiler and patch up the holes & paint it to match, or if I should just keep it on until I get a new spoiler and see if its a perfect fit or not. I'm not sure how long it'll be before I get a new wing. What do y'all think?

Patch up them holes, or it will look like crap.. with them patched up you got the clean look happening also IMO paint the spoiler it self the same colour as the car. for the extra muhhhhhh ahhhh effect also it make it look better hail.gif

If you really want the GT wing, don't waste your money filling the holes as the wing comes with mounts that are designed to re-use the stock holes. If you think the Carbon one is out of your price-range, you might want to consider the ABS ones that are identical in design, like the ones from PSC but I'm sure you could prolly get them locally.

Well patching up the holes wont really cost anything. I'm probably gonna just patch up the holes, shouldnt be too much harder to put it in that way, should it?

^ yeah, you should prolly get the holes filled. The mounts for GT wing will probably not line up perfect with the stock mounts. You'll have glue and junk to deal with too. Get them filled and then buy the GT wing later on when you have the cash.

since filling in the holes doesn't cost anything extra, if i were you, i would go ahead and get them filled in. that way, in the future, no matter what wing you decide to go with, you won't have any problems getting the wing to sit right. even though it says "will work with factory holes" sometimes they are a little off and that can be unsightly. good luck and get an awesome wing for your tib! wink1.gif
