I was wondering if anyone knows how different the tail light dimensions are between the RD2 and the GK, because I've found these lights that i really like and I'm considering modding my back bumper to make em fit if the difference isn't too big...

you know, they look like they actually could work... You might want to verify it from a GK tib first, but it looks good... Find out and post mang.

 

i have a buddy that is trying to see if gk taillights work on the rd2. it does look like it it's similar.

 

save the money and go with nightshades. those lights are really ricey, keep your ride lookin clean.

 

If you can get them to fit, go with it, but tape off the lenses and paint the tails the same colour as the rest of the car. I'd give it a shot with mine, but the RD2 Zefiro rear would look odd with them since its made specifically for the RD2 tails.

 

They look close cuz we thought of it when the GK's first camw out but if you pu them together in front of you the lines are off. You will have to do a bit of custome work to the body and trunk and see of you can create or fade off the line you expect to see from the GK lights point. There's a guy on post with a black GK with those tails painted to match. They look good for the car.

 

They look very close to the ones off the '07 Tiburon. I really wish someone would do that conversion... I know they're all really close, each year is slightly different, but I think it should be possible.

 

unless you're a professional craftsman, it would be kind of ricey having worse fitment than stock. like i said, it would be worth spending that money on better things, unless you've got that money and time lingering somewhere.
