Custom Tails

im debating on making a set of custom tails for my tib or buying aftermarkets.
the customs i had planed out were just circle tails off a corvette (i think would accent the head lights) and the reverse lights off a corvette as well

and i plan on molding them into where the rear tails are now so the layout would be like this poor paint pic

personally, i dont think it would look very good at all.. they just wouldn't have anything to flow with. and the tails wouldn't have the arc of the lens like the stock ones do..
i think the best bet for doing something like this is making like a custom altezza setup with a smoked lens. that way, you will get the custom look you are going for, while retaining the stock shape of the tails.
heres something i came across that would pretty much fit the look that you were going to go with, and if you painted these the color of the car or black they have potential to look kinda neat.
