Well i had an accident with my veilside front bumper...... I ripped it clean off last weekend sad.gif

So now im going to get the cuda 2 front bumper from Importshark. I want the veilside front again but way too low.

Ive liked the cuda 2 for a long time but didn't want to get an other bumper.....now i have the chance unfortunately.

I might do the HD lip that socks had on his.

It should go well with the veilside skirts and bumper. I will be doing black mesh in the front openings also.

Ill post pics here when i get it all painted up.

Now comes the waiting game lol then painting....the rate im going it wont be till mid or last of june before i can drive it

 

i'm not sure about that mix...
i have to find a front bumper to, but my vielside side skit are mold.....so hard to find a bumper that fit well

 

same combo SOCKS had, but he had the oem bumper with the rear bumper pods, not the veilside rear bumper.

 

i think the VS skirts will still be too low for the cuda II + HD lip. but im not sure.

i had the GTR skirts and rear pods with the cuda II and HD lip on the front.

the GTR skirts aren't that much lower than stock. the cuda II bumper is about 1.5" lower than stock, and the lip is about 1.7" or so. so roughly 3" lower than the stock bumper. i think the VS skirts are more than 3" lower than the stock skirts, so it might look a lil weird lining up. with the cuda II, HD lip AND lowered 1.2" with the eibachs, i still had about 3.5" or more of ground clearance just to put it in perspective.

LOVE the Cuda II + lip combo though. looks even better with the center bar removed. fing02.gif

i would honestly pick up a pair of side skirts when you get the cuda II front bumper so everything matchs up well. the VS rear is high enough to match well with any side skirts.

I will be removing that center bar.

I don't want to get side skits because i already have the VS molded in. So its not as easy as just taking them off.



Im hopping it will look good lol.

I don't have the money right now to pay for getting new sides and re painting the sides of my car.

i've got the same problem and I was wondering if either one of you has fixed your problem...i would like to see what the end result looks like

 

i didn't tuch that at all yet, i just move in my new house and my baby boy take a lot of my time.

 

two front bumpers will look good with the VS kit.. the VS front and the Blitz front. no other bumper will flow with the VS sides.

GT tech lip= only ~1" lower than stock bumper
Cuda II bumper= only 1.5-2" lower than stock bumper
Cuda I bumper= *estimated* 2" lower than stock bumper
Blitz bumper= ~4" lower than stock
VS bumper= ~4-4.5" lower than stock

Just from seeing VS skirts, they are at least 4" lower than stock skirts.

so to get the front to line up, you would need a bumper thats AT LEAST 4" lower than stock. even the Cuda II with an HD lip on it, its still prob a lil less than 4" lower than stock

 

i decided I'm going to try and fit my fielside for now and then in three weeks the Blitz will be back in stock at NRG so I may buy the Blitz bumper then
