for those of you with a cuda 1 kit i fit the rear today but im kinda stumped on what to do about the rear license plate lighting...

just out of curiosity where'd you get your lights at?

keep in mind, one of the lights has gone out in a year. Not sure if it's a rusted/corroded contact or what. It does look great when they're on, and only half as great when only one is on.

I did something similar to Phorq's idea. Only I installed 4 separate LED's above the plate. I just drilled 4 holes wired up the LED's with a resistor for each to run 12v. I've had them in there for about 4 years and non have gone out yet. Lucky I guess. lol

i bought an led tube and put it up there. it works pretty good. i wish i would have just filled the holes and went with seperate leds but it works

I just cut the holes open and fiberglassed my OEM ones in. haha. But that LED light would had been alot nicer.
