crystal clear headlights?
Ok I dont know if headlights chaged from 97-99 or somthing but some are perfectly clear all over and some have writing and a patern over the high beam area I know about sanding it out and all but what exactly is envolved with that and how long dose it take? well later peeps
I think the Korean Spec headlights are glass and therefore 100% clear. I could be wrong though. Contact either SR or Long. They can help ya out (Long has the korean spec lights, and SR can get them). Good luck...

Even the korean spec glass headlights are not 100% clear, but they are pretty close though. They have much less of a pattern than the US spec plastic lenses do.

From Shark Racing, I think the Korean Spec Headlights were $170 for the PAIR.
They do just bolt up, but they have several significant differences.
#1. The glass front.
#2. Different light beam pattern. The USA headlights are basically straight across. The Korean Spec headlights rise up on the right hand side. This blinds folks drivers side mirrors, and even goes high enought to Blind Semi's. When I drive on the innerstate at night, about 1 in 3 semi's brights me after I pass them. (granted, the HID Kit I added only makes it worse)
#3. The Korean Spec lights come with a "city light" built into the highbeam. Our headlight connectors have 6 wire spots, just like the Korean Spec, but the 2 wires for the City light are not there on our versions. To get the City light to work you would have to run wires to the unused 2 spots in our connector. You can just hook them right up, and they will work fine, but the city lights will never illuminate.

yeah they are exact replicas except has a glass top, has some city bulbs built into the bright housing, and the vision line is different (how the lights shine out)
