Some have done this and say that it works, others have tried and have ruined their turn singnals.

the way it is SUPPOSED to work, is that you heat up the turn signal with a hair dryer or low temp heat gun. You then "pry" the orange reflector off the side of the turnsignal on the inside with a screw driver. You then "munch" the yellow lens with a pair of needle nose pliers and extract the muched pieces out the small hole.

As I said before, some say this works, others say it does not. I own a first gen, and I have never tried, supposedly it only works on the second gen turn signals.

Let me just say, the Clear Lenses offered for sale are NOT like the stock units. Especially the gen2 Clear Corners. They are 100% clear with just a few rib lines. You can see right through them and they look awesome. The first gen Clears are more opaque, but are still worlds better than the stock headlights.

The Shark Racing/Speedstate units are actually OEM Hyundai Made Clear Corners that they put on Korean Cars.

What is funny, is the Koreans swap out their clear corners for Yellow corners, and we do the opposite. Maybe we should organize a "Turn signal swap" across the ocean program going....

Well, that decides it then... I will buy SR's corners.

Unfortunetly, I didn't get my promotion, so I am not sure when I will get them.

Well, the discount price is only 63 bucks and I have no need for new bulbs... I'll just have to save I guess.

All about being different! It doesn't matter what you're doing, just so long as it's NOT OEM.

So does keeping my OEM yellow-corner lenses add yet another layer to my poser/ricer image? Poser kitting out his 4-cyl with all the stylish Korean parts...man, he's SUCH a ricer he even replaced his aftermarket clear corner lenses with aftermarket yellow ones!
Or something like that.
