QUOTE (KayJai)
NO THEY WILL NOT Work!

RD1 reflectors are MOLDED on, not glued on
YOU WILL BREAK THEM IF YOU TRY!

LOL, I was thinking that too. It appears that they were poured one on top of the other. I was looking at my stock ones (I have clears) and there are tabs that are orange that go into the housing....the only way I could see to do it (and I know it can be done because I have seen pics...I think blacktibs) is to use a cutoff wheel to cut the lens off the housing, remove it and epoxy it back together or something.

Void: I'd like to see this,... there is no way I can think to do it, I'm sure it's molded on. And if you spend all that time trying to do it, you might as well splurge and get some REAL clears

yeah you cant cutoff wheel them unless you want trashy looking clears, and considering its on the front of your car, I wouldn't suggest it. If you used the cutoff wheel, then you'd see all the shit that was cut because the lense is clear. I tried soooo many ways but no luck. I'll do some custom 1st gen ones, but you cant on the second. best way is how majik does it. No scratch that best way is to pay up like the rest of us.

HAHAHA, ok, well guess it wasn't Blacktibs....I agree with them. I just bought some, much easier for the first gen. If you look around you can find them cheap. I paid 35 shipped for mine and that was just last year...brand new in the box too. wink.gif
