I should be in a lot better position to answer that in a couple of weeks. I'll also do before/after pics and hi/low HID pics on the Accent.

i love these things man, they cost the same as upgraded bulbs and look bad ass. I have to have them pointed pretty far down to not blind people though, but even then it still reflects over head signs and signs that are super far away. the bulbs have a little cut off shield on the bottom that's part of the bulb mount.
floyd if you were to make a cut off shield yourself, would you want to block the light from underneath so it doesn't reflect up? if so, the ones it comes with don't work very well in the accent lights sad.gif

Yeah, supposed to block the bottom side.
Did you get the bixenon kit or the regular H4? The bixenon has a shield that moves out of the way when you turn your high beams on. Not concerned with the lows being too dim, just hoping the shield works alright when it's in place.

You want to make a cutoff that comes around the bottom 1/3 or so of your bulb. Even with a cutoff, you get some upward glare, but nothing that will blind oncoming traffic.

Hmmm anybody here with an rd2 if you have the 55w kit did you need a harness or no? I currently have a 35w kit from another vendor and I've always wanted the 55w kit (it's like a superiority complex tongue.gif) lol anyways I would like to get it just would like more info from fellow rd2 owners before then.
Also 6 or 5k? I currently have 4300k and I've been considering a 5k if i was to upgrade to the 55w. But it did say that the color seems to wash out a bit in the 55w so if any rd2 owner with these kits in a 5k or 6k please let me know!
Thanks!
