Default Center pedestal or no pedestal?

What do you guys think look better on an RD? The shark wing with the center pedestal, like this

Or no pedestal like the Kombat/Wings West style spoiler?

I'd go with no pedestal, or no spoiler at all.

I always thought RD1's with no spoiler looked like it had a saggy ass. lol It def needs something to compliment the butt! Even if it's a stock/OEM low profile one. The best one though is the Type R wing that came on the canadian tibs from the factory. But I'm partial to the Kombat Wings West style since that's what I had on my RD2.

I like the pedestal. I'm biased though, the first tiburon I ever saw and fell in love with had the shark wing with the pedestal.

I would have to say the pedestal. Since, its on my RD1.

But I always thought this was the best spoiler for the RD1.

I'm always about function, but in the case of RDs it needs something.

Remember that not all spoilers are about down force. A good drag reduction spoiler, like is used on the FC3S RX7, goes a long way on a FWD car. That is the major thing people forget about spoilers, they can serve multiple functions and even the stock units can be slightly modified to serve function as well as looks. You just need to do a little research and fiberglass work.
