Does anybody know where I can get a carbon fiber sunroof? My tib is black and I love the way this would look on my car

 

probably not going to happen, unless by some rare chance someone ends up selling theirs. i don't think you can just buy them anymore.

For what car? Sorry if it is listed, I can't see it on the mobile skin. These are available for the GK Tiburons.

 

I know we tried a group buy on CF/Fiberglass rear hatches that failed. We could always see if the same supplier would do a CF sunroof. I would be in for one for an RD. I believe the Rd1 and Rd2 would be the same.

 

Im pretty sure that "Carbonman" from CompactDivisions was creating those, hes no longer a vendor on ElantraXD.

 

I don't even think they exist as a company anymore.

 

^Nope you're correct, their internet references are almost non existent...what a shame, I purchased a lot of items from them and they were great quality.

 

Wasn't it Tibbytib who found somebody that would make us CF or Fiberglass hatches if would could have found 5 people? I'm saying that this may be an option to pursue if one really wanted to get a CF sunroof. I don't know what the cost would be but it wouldn't hurt to get the information and see if we can get the numbers together to try something.

 

Not to mention a CF sunroof would be a hell of alot cheaper than a CF hatch, hence there would be way more people interested in it...at least on this site anyway
