Also, in regards to metal hoods without bracing, My Fiat was built that way.. only a single brace up the middle (which doesn't touch the skin of the hood) and a perimeter frame... you should see the thing vibrate at idle..

Old topic but RD2 stock= 35 lbs. My carbon fiber one weighed 20.1 or .2 something.

but yours (and mine) are CF reinforced with Fiberglass... hence the extra weight of the 10 lbs average weight discussed above.

mine was 18 lbs just fyi, considerably lighter than stock
